PROJECT: Cadbury Joy Generator

To unveil the new Cadbury chocolate bar packaging and help educate consumers on the full flavour range Adventure were tasked with building an algorithm that would use information about the consumer to match them with a Cadbury bar flavour. We were also tasked with building a chocolate house that could hold the 2 tonnes of chocolate bars that were to be given out to consumers via an integrated vending machine.

The Cadbury Joy Generator is a great example of a truly integrated experience where consumers logged into the digital vending machine and the algorithm calculated their flavour match based on their Facebook Likes & Interests and their free bar of chocolate was dispensed.

Through the PhotoBooth consumers could share images and messages with their friends. The activation was so successful that people waited for nearly an hour to get their free chocolate bar!
